The Durham Region J-Bodies was founded in June 2003, by Richard Kelly & John Hall.  Together their goal was to bring a name to what was already a growing j-body scene in the Durham Region.  The acronym DRJ only seemed to be fitting for the group of friends which seemd to be growing weekly at the AMC Whitby meets.  By the end of the season in 2003 there were 100+members.   Today the DRJ still follows the tradition of the last 7 years by meeting every sunday under their current president Jason McGray.
